![]() ![]() This is an honest account of our stay at Hedonism II in January 2009. Since we were there during a lifestyle week there was a lot of. I don't mind having a clothing optional/romantic vacation with other guests but random strangers who stop boats a few feet off the water and stare were unacceptable. There are many random gawkers who will come on to the resort property, either to sell souvenirs, or to just stare at the guests. For older travelers there are lot of other older travelers to hang out with.ġ) Biggest is the lack of control of who is on the resort property, who is on the beach, etc. The automatic booking of our shuttle back to the airport was nice too. To clarify though, there were older travelers at the resort who did enjoy themselves and the resort does have it positives.įirst the positives: the beach is very pretty, and the grounds of the resort pretty well maintained. For a hotel charging ~$400 a night we expected the resort to have a certain minimum level of class and service which unfortunately was absent. The theme for everything at the resort was one of absence of class. The trip was a total disaster and completely underwhelming. ![]() This was our first visit to Jamaica and first to Hedo although we have stayed at Desire (in Mexico) previously. ![]()
